In a striking display of digital artistry, Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo proudly unveils Thirteen Paintings by American artist Wade Guyton, as part of the Fondation Louis Vuitton’s “Hors-les-murs” initiative. Known for challenging traditional painting techniques, Guyton’s work blurs the lines between art forms, leveraging digital processes to create pieces that redefine painting in the age of technology.

Guyton’s latest series, exhibited publicly for the first time, integrates recurring motifs scanned flames, monochrome forms, and screenshots from the New York Times printed on large canvases with intentional digital “errors.” This innovative approach makes each piece an exploration of both form and process, embodying a harmony between traditional canvas and cutting-edge printing.

Exclusively presented in Tokyo, this exhibition captures the essence of contemporary creativity, inviting audiences into the dynamic intersection of art and digital experimentation.
