This summer, Rick Owens turns introspection into spectacle with Temple of Love, a sweeping retrospective opening at Paris’s Palais Galliera. Far more than a fashion exhibit, the experience is a raw, immersive self-portrait—blending 30 brutalist sculptures, intimate personal artifacts, and over 100 silhouettes that trace his evolution from underground L.A. to global icon.

Visitors will even step inside a recreation of the California bedroom Owens shares with longtime collaborator Michèle Lamy. From sequined statues adorning the museum’s facade to spiritual nods and cinematic references, this exhibit is Owens at his most monumental: poetic, provocative, and deeply personal.
