Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), the first New Media Arts hub in the MENA region, is launching its inaugural Mazra’ah Media Art Residency in Riyadh from February to April 2025.

This groundbreaking residency offers established artists and scholars in New Media and Digital Arts the opportunity to develop work within state-of-the-art studios and labs. Selected participants will showcase their creations through exhibitions or academic publications, in collaboration with DAF's extensive regional and international networks.

Set within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyah, this unique residency encourages exploration of the relationship between humans, nature, and technology, with the 2025 theme "High-Resolution Dreams of Sand" serving as a focal point.

The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s cultural ambitions and positions Riyadh as a global hub for innovation in Digital and New Media Art.
