Burberry has recreated the garments worn by Sir Ernest Shackleton's crew during their historic 1914 Antarctic expedition for National Geographic’s documentary 'Endurance'.
Celebrating Shackleton's journey and Burberry's role in it, the documentary explores the harrowing tale of survival when Shackleton’s ship was trapped in ice, with the team relying on Burberry’s durable gabardine fabric for protection.
In collaboration with the filmmakers, Burberry crafted ten replicas of the original expedition outfits, showcasing the brand's century-old tradition of outfitting explorers. Two of these replicas will be on display at Burberry’s Regent Street flagship from October 12–31.
