The costumes in The King’s Man reflect the timeless style and functionality of tailoring and military wear from the film’s period, set during WW1, with silhouettes and styles made relevant for contemporary dress.
For The King’s Man, MR PORTER and Matthew Vaughn will debut a 255 piece collection in two stages:
First, launching in December, a more commercial range of luxury men’s wear pieces derived from the most popular styles from the past 10 collections, including the original ‘costume to collection’ core range with longstanding Kingsman partner brands. Additionally, MR PORTER will debut two new products and partner brands – a limited-edition timepiece from Jaeger-LeCoultre, and a limited-edition writing instrument from Montblanc, both exclusive to MR PORTER from December through to the film’s release in February. For the second stage, and prior to the film’s global release, MR PORTER will debut the latest ‘costume to collection’ lifted from The King’s Man and collaborated on with award-winning costume designer Michele Clapton.
