The two renowned names of the fashion industry Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri redefines the fusion of languages and styles placing them at the position of Creative Directors at Valentino.

Their iconic styles portrays their sense and belonging for contemporary that is further enhanced by the varied contrasts of artistic, visual and literary arts. The two artists synthesize their unique art of creativity into pairing for the Maison that creates a dynamic duo.

Both the great artists Pierpaolo and Maria Grazia are passouts of the same institute, the Europeans Institute of Design located in the city of Rome and landed up at Fendi’s design studio for embarking on their professional journey. Pierpaolo and Maria Grazia gelled well together instantly that paved the way for building trusted and strong professional relationship. The both artists experimented at large that successfully lead to the creation of some memorable and historical accessories at the design studio, Fendi.

Overwhelmed by their artistic and outstanding pieces of work, Valentino Garavani himself extended an invitation to both of them to work with him in his Maison. In the year 1999 Valentino assigned them a project to work on creation of a line of accessories that represents the original story of Valentino. They stand out creating a perfect and beautiful blend of tradition and innovation.

After retirement of Valentino Garavani in September 2007, Pierpaolo and Maria Grazia were appointed as the new Creative Directors for the entire accessories lines at the fashion house of Valentino.
