Gucci Spring Summer 2019

A show at the Théâtre Le Palace in Paris, Gucci moved their show for spring summer 2019 to showcase a collection with a great 70’s vibe, the show notes explained that Leo de Berardinis and Perla Peragallo were key inspirations to the SS19 Gucci collection. Leo de Berardinis and Perla Peragallo went against the format of existing theatre forms to experiment with Shakespeare’s plays in the mid-60s.

Following the premiere of an oddball arthouse film, projected on the theater walls, models started appearing between the aisles.  A collection that is true to the vision of Alessandro the creative director, the pieces were heavily embellished, eclectic, and pretty much all over the place, in a beautiful Gucci way.
